Rutube is Russia's long-running video platform, home to local shows, creators, and broadcasters whose content is often unavailable anywhere else. Its player offers no viewer downloads, and its app saves only bookmarks. A downloader turns any public Rutube link into a real video file.
How to download a Rutube video
- Open the video on rutube.ru and copy the URL from the address bar.
- Paste it into our Rutube downloader and press Download.
- Pick a quality and save the MP4.
Good to know
- Embeds resolve. Rutube videos are embedded across Russian sites; the downloader can resolve the video behind an embed.
- Region behavior varies. Some content is aimed at specific regions; availability depends on where the request comes from.
- TV episodes download like ordinary videos — mind the file size for hour-long content.
